BRYAN BALDWIN
Illustration & Logo Design

Bryan BaldwinIn 2007 Bryan ‘took the plunge’ and started his artistic pursuits full time. The same year he won The Flinders Art Show with his portrayal of the ‘The Bird Netters’ on Flinders Beach. He opened ‘Backorye - St Andrews Beach Art Studio/Gallery’ in April 2008.

Bryan is well known for his beautiful Mornington Peninsula seascapes, showing his love of the many beautiful beach scenes and their ever changing moods. He enjoys working in many mediums, oil, acrylic, pencil, pastel and sculpting. Past work has included Murals, Theatrical Set Design, Illustrations and Corporate Imaging.

Bryan’s vision for the Mornington Peninsula is as a hub of fine art in Victoria. He is a foundation member of The Peninsula Studio Trail and will be holding themed exhibitions during the year.

At the age of 14 Bryan was fortunate enough to travel the Australian Outback with his family. The vivid colours of the sunsets inspired Bryan to portray that feeling in a painting. He has since endeavoured to capture, emotion and mood within his artwork. Bryan studied at Prahran College and graduated with a Diploma of Industrial Design in Art and Design.

He has worked variously as an Industrial Designer and Design Draftsman in a number of different companies.
