Mission Statement

Peninsula Studio Trail is a not for profit group of like minded artists who wish to promote their work through networking and collective promotion. Its aims are to make the artist's work more accessible. People can meet the artist in his or her studio where they make and display their work. A trail map has been created to help the art lover find and connect with the artist they wish to visit.

To become a member of the trail artists need to be actively creating art, have their own studio where they can display their work and be willing to meet with the art viewer. It is also important that suitable artists be able to work together with the other members of the trail.

Obligations

In each of the studios there will be an album displaying the work of all of the artists on the Trail. This Album is very important for the success of PST. It is the responsibility for each individual to have an album displayed at their studio and to produce good quality A4 sized copies, indicative of their work…one for each PST member.

You must be willing and actively referring the public to the other artist studios. It is considered that ‘Open Days’ are vital to the success of an Artist Trail….they will generally occur once every season and will require you to have your studio suitable for visitors on those days. This will be coordinated to have as many studios open as possible.

It is strongly advised to have Public Liability Insurance.
