About
The Sorrento Portsea Chamber of Commerce represents and supports local businesses by attracting new and existing customers to the Sorrento and Portsea regions. This is implemented by performing marketing, promotional and development activities for the centre aimed at promoting Sorrento and surrounds.

The Chamber manages the business development and promotions fund by undertaking activities such as branding, advertising, events, loyalty & promotional programs, improving streetscape, printed promotional material, networking & business development opportunities and influencing retail mix in the shopping precinct. A Business Development Manager has been appointed to facilitate the implementation of the business plan.

At present, all businesses along Ocean Beach Rd from the base of Point Nepean Rd to Melbourne Rd, along adjoining side streets of Kerferd Ave, Darling Rd and George Streets, and along Point Nepean Rd to Hotham Rd Sorrento are part of a compulsory business development & promotions fund. All of these businesses are listed on this website.
Businesses outside of this area are encouraged to be voluntary members.

The Chamber is a volunteer committee appointed each September at the AGM. The Committee meets every second Monday of the month, and a quarterly networking meeting is held with all members and businesses encompassed in the catchment area. New members are always welcome.

If you would like to become a voluntary member, contact Natalie Garner either via email or on 0424 000 391 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. 12 month membership fees are charged on January 1 each year.
